Carbs - what I have to work with

Some notes about the carbs I have stuck back for use, just to help me remember.

This is the carb I had been running. It's a Carter 'Competition Series' AFB #9605. 600 CFM, manual choke. The same as the Edelbrock 1405, calibrated for "performance".

Metering Jets: Primary .100", Secondary .095"
Metering Rods: .075"x.047"
Step-Up Spring: Orange (5" Hg)

AFB Zip Kit #902-317A
AFB Strip Kit #10-201

------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a list of the Q-Jet tuning parts I have:

Hangers - D E H I J L M N P R T
2nd rods - DG AX DA CV CP CH BA DR DP DB DD
Jets - 69 71 72 73 74 77
Primary rods - 49K 54P 49M

Some Q-Jet notes from Brad Olsen:

Sounds like it's practically identical to the 327/275 from '66-69 so I would probably start with something close to a factory-spec Q-Jet and work from there.
Here are how the Camaro 327/275/4-speed carbs were set up:

'67: 43/71, AN, 7-3 power piston spring, no hanger code given
'68-69: 46/71, AN, 8-4 power piston spring, no hanger code given

The 327/300 engineswere very similar, although some got BG secondary rods instead of ANs.
The '69 350/300 was 42/67 and the '69 350/325s were 38/67 (AT) and 36/66 (MT).

The '67-68 350/295 used the same Q-Jets as the 327/275. There was no 327/275 in '69; it had been replaced by the 350/300.
